Description: Originally made in 1989 this belt is 1 of 5 in this series. The figures represent woman cleaning fish and making dolls. The woman with lapis arms has a hinged arm that moves. The woman with sugilite has a re-moveable doll that can be worn as a pendant. The center mask is a woman’s face and can be removed and worn separately. the cut-out designs under the face are woman dancing and doing various activities. All pieces can be taken apart and worn individually. This is a piece that can be worn in a variety of ways and the leather belt is adjustable.
